    On May 29 and 30, 2015, Marymount Manhattan College observed its annual Alumni Reunion Weekend, honoring the classes of ’55, ’60, ’65, ’70, ’75, ’80, ’85, ’90, ’95, ’00, ’05 and ’10.

    Marymount Manhattan College was pleased to host members of the RSHM at the annual Christmas Celebration.  This year’s event was bittersweet as it was held in memory of recently passed Board of Trustees member, Sr. Teresita Fay, RSHM, Ph.D.  President Judson R. Shaver, and Sr. Catherine Patten both shared lovely remarks about Sr. Teresita’s dedication to MMC as well as her community.  Guests were also treated to a jaw-dropping performance by Maddie Baillio’18 and members of the MMC a cappella group, The Riffins.

    President Judson R. Shaver, Professor of Theatre Arts David Mold, and VP Marilyn Wilkie traveled to West Hollywood, CA to host a reception of alumni, parents, and friends.  Over 70 people attended this successful event, and it was great to see everyone!

    On October 25, during Family, Friends, and Alumni Homecoming Weekend, MMC celebrated the official dedication of the J. William Bordeau Box Theatre.  Many who knew Bill were in attendance including alumni, faculty, staff, and students.

    On October 9, alumni, parents, and friends gathered at the beautiful home of Gates and Mary Ellen Hawn ‘91 in Far Hills, NJ.

    On February 4th, Emmy-award winning stylist and MMC Adjunct Instructor treated the audience to an insider view of his new book, How to Win at Shopping.  Following the lecture, there was a reception where David signed copies his book and gave each attendee a personalized style read.

    On Tuesday, December 9, Marymount Manhattan College held it’s annual Trustee Donor Dinner at the Lotos Club.  This annual event is held to thank the College’s most generous donors.  Despite the weather, alumni, parents, trustees, and friends showed up in festive holiday attire and enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and a wonderful student performance

    We’re excited to once again celebrate Family, Friends, and Alumni Homecoming Weekend!  Families and friends had the opportunity to meet President Judson R. Shaver, Ph.D., members of our faculty and staff, as well as other students and their families. Activities included visiting classes, MMC’s Got Talent, our famous Flag Football Game, and a special presentation and book signing by author Tina Santi Flaherty!

    The Theresa Lang Theatre was filled on Sunday, October 26th when author Tina Santi Flaherty gave a lecture on her newly released commemorative edition of What Jackie Taught Us: Lessons from the Remarkable Life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
    The lecture was followed by a reception and book signing in The Commons.
