Christine Gregory is the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and Title IX Coordinator. Her position involves providing high-level leadership and support to the President on a wide range of complex projects. As the College’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, she is charged with developing and supporting programs focused on issues of diversity, inclusivity and social justice. In her role as Title IX Coordinator, Mrs. Gregory ensures that the College’s policies, procedures and practices are in compliance with the legal obligations under Title IX, and that every person affected, including students, faculty and staff are aware of their legal rights.
Mrs. Gregory is an attorney with 10 years of experience in higher education administration with a special focus on diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining our community, she served as an organizational development consultant to various non-profit and academic institutions, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the University of Michigan Law School, and the Executive Director of the Urban Alliance Foundation, a national community based organization that provides college and career opportunities to youth from under-resourced neighborhoods. Mrs. Gregory holds a B.A. from Hampton University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
