Mark T. Conard received his Ph.D. from Temple University in Philadelphia. His main areas of interest include Ancient Greek Philosophy, German Philosophy, Early Modern Philosophy, and Popular Culture and Philosophy. He is the author of numerous articles in these areas, as well as the editor of many books, including The Philosophy of Film Noir, The Philosophy of Martin Scorsese, The Philosophy of the Coen Brothers, and The Philosophy of Spike Lee. He regularly teaches courses in Introduction to Philosophy, Logic, Modern Philosophy, Phenomenology, Existentialism, and Plato.
